CurrentEssential duties and responsibilities include the following: • Building, maintaining and segregating the databse based on the type and location of the industry.• Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.• Understand customer needs and requirements.• Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.• Setup effective online demos to prospects.• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.• Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.• Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters,etc.• Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials.• Conducting market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups.• Analysing and investigating price, demand and competition.• Promotional activities.• Organising events and product exhibitions.• Managing campaigns on social media• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails• Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identifying sales opportunities.• Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
