Worked on GAPS (Global Account Profitability System) Collects the customer Revenue from Smart and other local reporting systems and feeds to BIW. The main purpose is publish reports and extracts on web. BIW (Business Information Warehouse) is a central database containing Global Relationship information for GRB Global and Program-managed names. It is built using Essbase, from Hypersion. Essbase is multidimensional database access tool, which primarily functions as a data retrieval mechanism.• Implemented Factory Design pattern to simplify the use of the database access classes with reflection being used to dynamically load the correct data access object at runtime. • To support the runtime determination of which concrete class to load, created a third class which is the factory itself and reads a value from configuration file to determine which assembly to load using reflection.• The factory is designed in C# as interface is created with a method declared for each method that must be exposed by the Data Access Application Block classes. • Implemented Front Controller pattern in ASP.NET to consult different database depending on different URL and Query Params.
