Familiar with Subnets, Route table, security groups, DNS, WAF, Network Acl’s, endpoint, gateways and troubleshooting network related issues by collaborating with firewall teams.Majorly focused on:Building and supporting Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) cluster to orchestrate docker containers of different applications.• Creation of node groups using cloud formation and connecting them to EKS cluster.• Implementing cluster auto scalar, container insights, ALB ingress controller, AWS load balancer controller, Prisma Cloud in EKS clusters.• Implementing resource quota for individual namespaces to efficiently utilize vCPU/Ram across containers• Creation of service accounts for EKS so that running pods can access various AWS services as per requirements.• Migration of clusters from KIAM to service accounts and to different subnets based on availability of IPs within subnets.• Worked on automation project for patching EKS clusters on monthly basis using AWS code commit.• Creation of RBACK roles, role bindings, AWS auth file, cross namespace access for pods.• Building Jenkins in EKS cluster to enable CI/CD for application team.• Responsible for providing container security.• Troubleshooting issues within containers/pods in prod/preprod environment using kubectl cli.• Creation of automation tasks using Lambda function for cost saving/security purpose e.g. delete unused EBS volumes, putting internet facing ALB behind WAF, automatically deleting resources created without mandatory tags, deleting rules in SG/NACL with unrestricted traffic towards internet etc. • Working closely with application team to understand the requirement, building resources and providing infra level support for any issues.
