• Design of medium complex sheet metal enclosure, machined components, structure, and release of manufacturing drawings with optimal GD&T. Handling the Problem report from the Supplier’s across the World.• Implements design /design changes based on Bill of Materials Update.• Modification of existing designs as per DFM. • Create CAD Model for the design concepts and Implement design changes for parts/assemblies. Support on design of Mechanical components and sub-systems.• Supporting manufacturing/supply chain by documenting and releasing engineering drawings.• Selecting OEM components – Circuit Breakers, Interlocks, Mechanical Hardware, Busbars (rigid and flexible), Door Hinges and latches, cable tracks, cooling fans, door gaskets, weldment studs, structural fasteners, conduits, clips, eye bolts etc.• Directly support in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication.• Executing the Obsolescence Problem Reports to replace the Obsoleting component.• Demonstrated ability to conduct critical review, seek approval of high-complex design models / layouts / documentation in collaboration with various stakeholders.• Create and Supports manufacturing by documenting and releasing engineering drawings & bills of materials using Engineering Change Management.
