As the head of the department and senior consultant neonatologist at Apollo Hospitals, I lead a team of dedicated professionals who provide high-quality care and treatment for newborns with complex medical conditions. With over 15 years of experience in neonatology, I have developed expertise in managing neonatal intensive care units, conducting clinical research, and teaching medical students and residents.I am passionate about improving the health and survival of newborns in India and beyond. I have been actively involved in the National Neonatology Forum, where I served as the president of the Karnataka chapter for two years. I have also organized and participated in several conferences, workshops, and policy initiatives to disseminate best practices and guidelines for neonatal care. Additionally, I have completed a fellowship in advanced neonatology from Mater Mother Hospital in Australia and a general management program from the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore, which have enhanced my clinical and leadership skills.
