Leading the Utilities Presales solutioning & Business Development Practice

The role calls on technical, business, strategic marketing and people management skills that help quantify the business value to RMSI. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance success rate on tenders/proposals by ensuring that bids are managed promptly, professionally and efficiently to meet the customer or prospect expectations.• Manage the life cycle of each tender/RFx/bid opportunity for the Utilities Business Unit• Carving and articulating the technical proposal with inputs from the teams• Organize the techno- commercial contributions for each bid by coordinating with resources across the organization• Addressing the customer’s expectations with respect to bid requirements• Escalate issues and risks associated with the bid, coordinate necessary business and contract approvals• Produce and maintain a bid management plan throughout the lifecycle, periodically update stakeholders on progress of bids• Deliver each bid on time, to the agreed format, quality and budget• Generate reports on bid wins & losses, lessons learnt, efforts spent on bids• Periodical reporting to the Business HeadAlso responsible for providing support to North American marketing and communications strategies for Core Geospatial and Utilities business unit to achieve organizational objectives and increase stakeholder value.Developed city development outlook reports for retail network planning using geographic tools for a major Oil and Energy customer that provides futuristic overview of the City growth patterns and identify pockets where high growth potential can be expected in future. The report provided significant savings on capital investments to the customer.

Developed a GIS based Decision Support System that draws People, Government and various funding agencies to a single platform. Instrumental in setting up the GIS unit to help Government administration in monitoring and evaluating the rural livelihoods support program.
