About Prashi Jain

I am a collaborative scientist with >12 years of experience in drug discovery, medicinal chemistry and immuno-oncology. My work involved various hit-to-lead identification and development projects as anti-bacterial, anti-HCV, dopamine antagonists and anti-Alzheimer agents. My research is currently focused on immuno-oncology where I identified a specific role of Tregs in cancer biology. I'm also developing cell-based therapies to mitigate tumor growth.I thrive on novelty in research and have always exploited technological advances to accelerate drug discovery in my projects. I complement research with entrepreneurship and am very interested in startup culture. As a core member of our team at the 'Freedom from Cancer startup Challenge' in partnership with The Center for Advancing Innovation (CAI) and MedImmune , I was involved in the due diligence with IP and de-risking of technology/method as prerequisite elements of forming a startup.
