I worked on a storage platform for the Amazon Aurora databaseI worked efficiently storing Binlog generated by Aurora Mysql Engine.This project is officially launched as an enhanced binary log for Aurora Mysql: https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/database/introducing-amazon-aurora-mysql-enhanced-binary-log-binlog/My responsibilities include: 1. Implemented a POC to store CDC data and retrieve it. 2. Worked on implementation/code review/ design discussions of the feature.3. Worked on customer escalations/provide mitigation4. Conducted design reviews with new team members to ensure that design choices are understood.I am a single-threaded owner of the streaming platform that streams CDC data from Aurora Mysql to different endpoints in near real-time. Designed and developed a streaming platform to send the CDC data to the streaming endpoint with consistency, and ordering guarantee.2. Ensure that alarms are in place when something goes wrong. Conducted weekly operational reviews to improve the quality of alarms and other operational needs.
