I am a clinical research professional with 17 years of experience in the healthcare sector, 16 of those years spent in clinical operations. As a hospital pharmacist, I began my professional career. I have been employed in clinical operations for the past 16 years, having worked for Novonordisk India Pvt Ltd, Klintra Research & Technology Services Limited, Laila Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd, and Laila Nutraceuticals, among others. I began my career in clinical research when I joined Novonordisk as a CRA, and I currently work at Laila as the Head of Clinical Operations. Throughout this time, I oversaw a number of domestic and international studies in various therapeutic domains and oversaw every aspect of running a clinical trial, including feasibility studies, site identification, site selection, IRB/IEC submission, conducting investigator meetings, initiating sites, monitoring sites, and closing sites. In addition, I have firsthand experience submitting regulatory dossiers. In addition, I developed all the SOPs, created the clinical study documentation, planned the study budget, and conducted vendor negotiations. Additionally, I managed multiple projects with different indications and completed them on schedule while holding a managerial capacity. I finished both my D.Pharm and B.Pharm at JSS College of Pharmacy in Ooty. Later, I earned an MBA, an M. Pharm, and a Professional Diploma in Clinical Research.
