Birla Tyres is a part of Kesoram Industries Ltd. andis into manufacturing of tyres and tubes, having 10 Zonal Offices, 150 sales offices/depotsspreading all over India. I was looking after the smooth functioning of IT department’sday–to-day activities at Head Office and IT related issues at zonal office and depots. I was involved from systems study, design, development, implementation and training of the system to the end user The team size was of seven personnel. My responsibilities were to look after the smooth functioning of EDP department and its day to day activities. Also Checking the scope of computerization in new areas.
