Currently pursuing an MBA in Healthcare from FMS, University of Delhi, I am a certified Prosthetist and Orthotist (P&O) by the Rehabilitation Council of India, holds Masters in Disability Studies from TISS, Mumbai, and a diploma in Nutrition and Health Education from Delhi. With a background rooted in a family dedicated to government services, my professional journey began at Comprehensive Prosthetics and Orthotics, a subsidary of CPO, USA, where I immersed myself as a clinical Prosthetist and Orthotist at Fortis Hospitals. I led disability rehabilitation camps, fostering community engagement and impactful interventions. This hands-on experience inspired me to delve deeper into the aspects of disability and rehabilitation, leading me to pursue a Master's in 'Disability Studies and Action' from TISS, Mumbai.During my academic journey, I honed my skills in field interventions, policy analysis, individual and group work methodologies, and the use of geo-mapping and spatial tools. My commitment to addressing the multifaceted challenges faced by people with disabilities led me to conduct a two-year research project titled 'Impact of Physical Activities on the Health of People with Disabilities.'To further bridge information gaps, I designed the 'Information @ One Click' project, creating a database for accessible information and communication for people with disabilities. This initiative, conducted under the guidance of Dr. Srilatha Juvva (Prof. TISS, Mumbai), funded by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, GoI, aimed to enhance individual's health, education and livelihood outcomes through spatial tools and digital access.My professional journey included impactful role in domain of Public Health with Tata Trusts, Mumbai, and the Ministry of Women and Child Development in Madhya Pradesh, where I served as a master trainer for the 'National Nutrition Mission.' Managing initiatives at district, division, and state levels, I collaborated closely with government officials, overseeing teams and contributing to maternal and child health programs.Over the past three years, I have been a Fellow at the Delhi Legislative Assembly, actively involved in policy making and implementation. My roles encompass M&E, comminucation, crisis managment, and managerial responsibilities for MLAs. Eager to contribute further to the sectors of health, nutrition, disability, and rehabilitation, I am driven by a vision of fostering inclusivity and empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives.
