Ranked among the Top100 influential game changers for 4 years by Exchange4Media, Prateek Chatterjee is a senior communications leader with over 25 years of experience in building brands & corporate reputation across diverse industries including – IT, Real Estate, Hospitality, Education, Airports, Energy & Infrastructure.Prateek is currently working as Group Chief Communications Officer with GMR Group, a global Infrastructure conglomerate with significant expertise in designing, building and operating airports. The group also has a major presence in Energy, Transportation, Urban Infrastructure and Sports.Earlier with NIIT, he led the communications & corporate marketing function for the company. Prior to NIIT, Prateek was instrumental in transforming the 40-year-old brand identity of real estate major, Ansal Properties into a vibrant and younger avatar – Ansal API. An MBA in marketing communication, he started his career with Perfect Relations, South Asia’s largest PR agency and was responsible for the communications mandate of marquee clients including – Philips, Apple, Godrej Consumer Products and Tanishq among others. A qualified Social Media and Digital Marketing professional, having done his Advanced Social Media Marketing Program from IAMAI and Digital Marketing program from DMI Ireland, Prateek brings forth a unique blend of new age media skills and strategic perspective to the Communications industry. Prateek is a regular speaker on emerging trends in communications at forums like- ET Brand Equity Communications Summit, HT Brand Leadership, IIMC (Indian Institute of Mass Communications), StratComm, Exchange4Media & Marcus Evans. He has been on the Jury of prestigious industry awards including - India Communications Summit by ET Brand Equity, IPRCCA, SABRE awards, Fulcrum Awards, IIMC Alumni awards and CMO Choice awards by DMA Asia. He is a Delhi University graduate in English and has completed Strategic Thinking program at IIM Lucknow. Prateek is member of ASSOCHAM Branding & Marketing Council and has been the co-chair of Skill Development Council, CII Delhi.Adding to his expertise, Prateek has completed the accelerated year-long ‘Advanced Management Program for Senior Leadership’ by XLRI, Jamshedpur in 2022.
