Through a network of cluster level Distributor Managers, managed a network of 750+ distributors across various markets of Seco in the Asia-Pacific region. These included being responsible for Distributor Sales Development, Capability Development and maintaining Strategic partnerships with channel partners in the markets of China, Taiwan, India, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam among others. As part of Global Channel Development team of Seco, conceptualized 'Elite Distributors' as an engine for Distributor Development in various markets of APAC region. In the role, I am also responsible for our Channel partners maintaining fair trade practices, competition law, compliance to local and international laws.

Business responsible for 2D and 3D design services being outsourced to engineering service partner firms.Additionally, responsible as the strategy implementation trainer for the Asia Pacific org. and coordinator for India Sales Unit of Seco Tools.Member of the 5-person Global Marketing Team focusing on developing Manufacturing Transformation brand.Selected to be Mentored by the President of Sandvik Machining Solutions as part of the Global SMS Mentorship program.

Being part of a 10-member Global Trainee Group selected from 5 countries, this is a 18-month program and arguably one of the best leadership development programs in the world for graduates. I completed three on-the-job training periods across the globe in the duration. In the first training period, I prepared a distributor management strategy for India Sales, Secotools, a metal cutting company within the Sandvik group. In the second training period, working in Sweden my job was to identify alternate heating technologies for Kanthal global, a heating technology company within the Sandvik group. For the third training period, working from Switzerland, I was a part of the team conceptualizing and launching the Global Services wing of Secotools. The program also focuses on future leadership development for Sandvik where I went through intensive soft skill and hard skill development. Collaboration in global work environment, understanding global manufacturing industry dynamics were topics of my personal interest.
