Working in healthcare for a decade has given a strong grasp of the healthcare ecosystem; understanding workflow in a healthcare setting and the collaborative mindset needed to achieve the best outcome for the organization as well as the patient. In my most recent role, I managed the operations of a dental clinic. Oversaw the treatment planning for patients, estimation and billing, scheduling of appointments and follow up of patients post treatment. The daily routine included managing staff schedules, computerized updating of case reports, logging incoming lab work and replying to electronic mail. Additionally, maintained inventory, ordered supplies, and oversaw equipment maintenance. Also tracked patient inflow, work done and business revenue.
