As the Co-founder and COO of Upcycle Nepal, I am proud to have led an enterprise that has become one of the pioneers in the fabric upcycling industry. With a lifelong exposure to the world of entrepreneurship through my family businesses, I have cultivated a unique set of skills that has helped me create an impact in my community. My education background in banking and insurance, coupled with a Master's degree in entrepreneurship, has given me a keen sense of planning and projecting that has enabled me to navigate the unorthodox nature of my field. My work in Upcycle Nepal has been recognized both nationally and globally, including winning the first Greenpreneurs ever by a Nepali participant in 2021. I have also won the third Yunus National Social Business Challenge in 2018, as well as the Kings Social Entrepreneur Award from King's College. More than just accolades, these recognitions serve as a testament to my commitment to creating a positive impact and reducing fabric waste in Nepal. As an entrepreneur, I have learned to communicate with people from all walks of life, and I pride myself on being able to handle the toughest of situations with a cool head. At Upcycle Nepal, I can leverage my experiences and skills to create a business that not only generates revenue but also provides an essential service to our community. With our team's passion and dedication, we have diverted over 500 tons of fabric waste from landfills since 2018. I am excited about the future of Upcycle Nepal, and I look forward to contributing my expertise to create a more sustainable world.
