Hi there! I'm an experienced engineering manager with a decade of hands-on experience in software development across a range of well-known companies, including Cisco, Synamedia, and athenahealth.My journey began as a front-end developer at a small startup, but I quickly found myself drawn to more complex challenges, and joined Cisco as a full-stack developer working with Python and JS on the video domain platform. From there, I moved to athenahealth as an SMTS, where I continued to hone my skills as a full-stack developer working with Node, React, and AWS.During my time at athenahealth, I had the privilege of serving as a scrum master for my team, alternating with other roles every other release. It was in this role that I discovered my passion for guiding and managing people, working closely with stakeholders, and ensuring that our deliverables were always on track.I eventually took up the mantle of a full-time scrum master for multiple releases, and found that I loved the challenges and opportunities that came with this role. I was able to guide my team through complex development cycles, foster strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensure that our deliverables consistently exceeded expectations.In my current role as an engineering manager for a product team at athenahealth, I have the opportunity to work with a group of highly motivated individuals who are all keen on solving industry problems. As a team, we're passionate about delivering high-quality software products that have a real impact on the healthcare industry, and we're constantly pushing ourselves to innovate and find new ways to solve complex problems.
