My passion for aerospace engineering started with my fascination in flight. I remember being a kid and wanting to be many things. From being an astronaut to an inventor. But the common theme that I find myself gravitating towards was being able to fly. This interest carried me to pursue my education at the University of Southampton. However, coming from a place where this field of engineering has yet to be mainstream it creates a wall around job opportunities. Having to experience this first-hand, I begin to question myself on what I can do to make a difference. And that was when I came across the aerospace company that I am currently working at. The more I get to know the team the more I find that our values align. Still with the same passion that I had from the start; I find myself being dedicated towards creating changes in this industry. And as an effect, creating an environment for future aerospace engineers. There is still a lot more for me to learn and each day on the job brings new challenges to the table. Being able to take charge and solve them is something that I am grateful for.
