Currently I am an enthusiastic student at ASU Barrett the Honors College. I am seeking to gain as much knowledge and experience in the field of computer science and entrepreneurship. As of now, I am currently a Microsoft Office Specialist (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), Certified Scrum Master, a Certified Python Programmer, and completed Udemy course of Java 8.I have experience as a teaching assistant at Kumon. I tutored kids in Math and English, prepped and managed their homework for upcoming classes, spoke to parents about questions or concerns they may have, and trained new employees to be successful at Kumon.My experiences in high school as a president when leading NHS (National Honor Society) and Service Club (a club that I grew from 20 to 120 members in 2 years) helped me find my passion of contributing to my community, which fuels my goals in the workforce. I hope to change the world for better by positively impacting the lives of people in the community and around the world. Gaining personal and hands on experience when coordinating and planning park clean ups, giving food to homeless around the world (Feed My Starving Children), and fundraisers. Our goal is to create a wheelchair powered assist for students in South Africa that suffer from cerebral palsy. These students have limited movement in the Conamore school, and we want to create an attachment to their wheelchair so that they can move indpendently with limited motor control.As the software lead my job was to program the Arduino joystick and connect that to our DC motor. This last year we were able to configure the wheel so that it would move forward and back and side to side with the right movement from the joystick.
