Pratibha Jain, an author and translator, finds deep meaning in the human connect, reflected in her motto: "Whose food we eat, their song we sing." Her work, spanning over 25 books, celebrates the wisdom of silvers and spiritual masters.Her writing encompasses diverse subjects, from documenting traditional Indian recipes to compiling and translating spiritual discourses. Her award-winning cookbooks, two of them co-authored with Jigyasa Giri, showcase India's culinary heritage. "Cooking at Home with Pedatha" won the Best Vegetarian Cookbook in the World in 2006, while "Sukham Ayu," exploring Ayurvedic principles, received second place for Best Health & Nutrition Cookbook in the World in 2009.The duo has presented their work at many Indian and international forums like the London and Paris book fairs and Terra Madre, Italy.Pratibha holds a Doctorate in Philosophy of Language from the University of Madras and was a Junior Research Fellowship recipient from ICPR, New Delhi. From 2010 to 2018, she was a monthly columnist at Harmony Celebrate Age Magazine wherein she interviewed silvers from across India, documenting their life tips and cherished family recipes. Her love for research and connecting with people fuels her creative spirit. She has worked with many spiritual masters, and especially compiled and translated multiple books for Gurudev Upadhyaya Praveen Rishiji, a Jain monk, and continues to be deeply fascinated by his pragmatic, spiritual approach.Pratibha volunteers with TULIR, an organization dedicated to preventing child sexual abuse. Her family is closely associated with Karuna Clubs for students, a vision of her father Shri Dulichand Jain, a renowned author and social worker.
