Job description/Position Summary including major challenges :-* Material Compliance Engineer with experience in IMDS /Bill of Material and Global Automotive Regulations by Creating,Validating and Approving material data sheets for global PPAP Activity.* High level competence in identifying and analyzing the restricted chemical substances as per ELV (End Life of Vehicle) is concerned.* Various reports based on environmental compliance delivered on time as per customer requirements by doing continuous follow ups with suppliers to facilitate on time submission of part.* Well versed in new European Community Regulation on chemicals and their safe use.* RSMS, ELV, REACh, Conflict Minerals and other regulation like RoHS, SVHC compatibility.* Preparing ELV and SVHC Analysis reports to comply with REACh requirements for customers and tier suppliers with guidelines and Hazardous substance management...* Well versed in material classification / composition as well as their application code, symbols defined by ISO norms for various kind of materials , CAS (Chemical Abstract Service) registry number for various chemical substances (Polymers, Metal etc..)* Handling numerous international conference calls.* Responsible for conducting supplier workshops for getting awareness about MDS Recommendations .
