Lead Bunge's debt and equity capital markets strategy, liquidity, interest rate risk management activities globally and manage Bunge's relationship with banks and credit rating agencies. Over the past 4 years, have led issuance of over $14b in committed debt capital in a variety of markets, including USD and EUR public debt, Samurai loan (JPY market), syndicated revolving credit market, bridge loan and US farm credit system. Over this period was able to reduce cost of funding and extend duration of portfolio by actively managing timing of debt issuance, liability management and hedge strategy. Certain major projects and achievements are highlighted below :- Strategic Financing:• Structured and negotiated an innovative $700m, change of control free facility - the facility enabled Bunge to de-risk and monetizing its Sugar and Bioenergy business in Brazil; a long time publically stated goal.• Designed and negotiated Bunge’s first Sustainability Linked Loan (Green Loan) with participation from 42 banks, to show case the company’s sustainability commitments by linking it to financing. • Designed term debt facility for a minority joint venture in Canada enabling Bunge to build its Western Canada presence in a capital efficient way with 16:1 leverage ratio.• Negotiated a bridge loan in form of a three-year unfunded term loan to balance Bunge's liquidity risk profile while providing funding certainty for $1b acquisition in a cost efficient mannerBusiness Development:• Led the valuation of Bunge's acquisition of 70% stake in Loders Croklaan (EV $1.3b)• Actively negotiated a 50-50 joint venture between Bunge and BP to create Brazil’s second biggest sugar and ethanol company in partnership with business development, legal and commercial teams across US, UK and Brazil.• Treasury due diligence lead and core member of commercial/legal negotiations team for all major acquisitions and divestiture.

• Led funding and capital structure related decisions for all Bunge’s global subsidiaries in 40+ countries, to ensure each subsidiary is funded in the most efficient manner limiting idle cash, tax cost and sovereign risk.• Managed Bunge’s global FX hedging policy and net investment exposure in various currencies; steps taken in Brazil and Argentina helped preserve economic value of equity in times of high currency volatility.• Developed process for ongoing management of the company’s economic cost and expense exposure globally.• Developed in-house model for determining arm’s length pricing for inter-company loans, thereby negating the need to engage external tax consultants and reduce SG&A costs

• Developed risk adjusted cost of capital (WACC) for Bunge and all its regional subsidiaries which formed the basis of all investment and performance management decisions of the company.• Modeled evolution of tax assets to ascertain their net present value, thereby providing a base for tax planning and guiding accounting impairment analysis.• Projected cash flow and monitored debt usage to aid liquidity planning.
