Providing hands on portfolio management as well as serving as a non-executive director.Select role highlights include:- Setup of a joint venture outside SA, enabling product distribution in new markets. I led the structuring and regulatory approval workstreams of this project.- Turnaround of a fintech start-up, from no cash reserves to a business pivot and winning clients in new markets.

Through understanding complex technologies changing the financial industry and working closely with executives across Retail and Wealth business segments, executed procurement category strategies to achieve business objectives.Notable achievement:Devised an innovative agile contracting model for Standard Bank’s mobile development teams, and showcased at Forrester Research Inc.’s annual Strategic Vendor Management Council EMEA Member Meeting, London.

Effectively negotiated strategic IT outsourced vendor engagements and set up the governance frameworks for supplier and contract management. Notable achievement:Successfully ran and delivered the procurement stream of a major asset restructure. Engaged and influenced multiple stakeholders across South Africa and London, and effectively managed third party delivery against an aggressive project plan.
