Led Product Management for Watson and Cloud Platform portfolio (IBM Public Cloud). Responsible for the overall roadmap, strategy, and offerings of IBM Public Cloud. Created partnerships with other SaaS vendors, standardized service definitions and SLA across platform services, and managed onboarding of new capabilities across all IBM Public Cloud Locations, expanded locations, and dedicated cloud services.

Development Director, responsible for the IBM Cloud Operational Management business. Led a worldwide Development and Product Management organization that developed and brought to market the public cloud management shared SaaS services consisting of Monitoring, Logging, and Audit for all of IBM Public Cloud Clients.

Responsible for IBM Cloud business strategy and portfolio management. Developed strategy for all of the aspects of IBM Cloud transformation that includes IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and Solutions on IBM Cloud. Delivered strategy for the transformation of the portfolio to Cloud-Native and Hybrid Cloud for all the relevant products.

CTO for ITSM Service Assurance Portfolio ( APM, Monitoring Network Management), Virtualization Management Portfolio and IT Operations Analytics Portfolio. As IBM technical executive, lead a world wide team of senior architects and engineers to transform the Tivoli IT Service Management portfolio to support Virtualization and Cloud. Created the new architecture and technical design for support of virtualization. Designed and delivered new product lines for managing Cloud and Virtual environments. Worldwide development team consisted of 700 engineers across the product lines. Had relationship with key executives of VMware, RedHat, Microsoft in support of the hypervisors.Key Outcomes:● Created the Hybrid Cloud SaaS Architecture for portfolio. Completed all product updates ( 5 product families) releases in 18 months. ● Reduced development effort/cost and increased velocity of delivery of releases by moving to DevOps.● Improved modularity of architecture by transforming product to use REST public interfaces.● Managed key alliance partnerships with Virtualization Vendors like VMware, RedHat and Citrix for the division.

● Lead Architect, IT provisioning and automation portfolio: Lead a worldwide team of 200 engineers to design the automation and provisioning components of IT Service Management.● Lead Architect, Security Management Solutions e.g. Identity Manager, Network Security Products. As IBM's Chief Security Architect, created IBM's Identity management strategy and acquired Access360 company to execute on the strategy. ● Lead Architect, Java Application Management Products.Lead IBM's first major commercial java project for Network Computer and thin client management. ● Lead Architect, TCPIP- DHCP, DNS development for OS2, 390, AS400, Windows.Lead IBM wide development team to create DHCP server and client systems across all the platforms. Designed Secure DNS system for the platforms. Worked with IETF and there standard bodies to contribute to the DHCP standard.

Responsible for leading a team of scientists and engineers to build the accelerator control system. The control system controlled over 100,000 control points that ran the particle accelerator and the liquid helium plant used to cool superconducting cavities. Responsibilities included design and delivery of software responsible for managing the smooth operation of the Data Center 24x7x365, continuous delivery of software upgrades to the data center, configuration, problem, incident, change and capacity management functions.

Responsible for building real-time unix compatible operating system that ran on i860 multi-processor computer used in Nuclear Power plants. Duties included all aspects of a startup business - development, marketing and support.Other Roles : ● Designed, SunOS/Solaris device drivers for integration of SCADA systems(DoD). ● Responsible for building real-time telemetry control system for NASA aircraft testing(DoD).● Responsible for building detection systems for submarines.
