RFx Legal also provides expert advisory services to clients seeking to 1.) identify outside legal cost savings opps (e-billing assessments, law firm rate analysis, staffing model assessments, etc), 2.) consolidate law firm provider portfolios OR 3.) find and engage best-fit firms to serve unique legal needs in specific jurisdictions.

Mainly and most importantly, as a Manager, Pratik strived to deliver throught-driven solutions and obtain optimal results for his clients, who often required him to manage multiple initiatives at a time. Internally within the practice, Pratik was heavily engaged and involved in developing/growing client relationships, drafting responses to RFPs and executing on opportunities for practice and delivery improvement.

Led and managed numerous client engagements across Huron's Legal Strategy and Technology practice line. Conducted legal spend management engagements that normally led to outside legal cost savings in the range of 10-20%. Pratik also worked heavily with corporate legal departments to help them better leverage technology to facilitate increased efficiencies and cost savings. Specifically, Pratik was requested by a F500 Midwest Utilities company to help them overhaul their legal department operations and technology. Pratik led the initiative to revamp their matter management system and provided them with an optimized model for information-driven legal management. Shortly thereafter, Pratik was requested by the Director of Legal Administration at a Houston-based energy company to do much of the same in addition to optimizing their use and management of outside counsel.

Served as a business analyst on numerous matter management implementations for F100 - F500 corporate legal departments. One highlight of his tenure as an analyst was Pratik's heavy involvement in Pfizer's TeamConnect implementation, which won accolades by Inside Counsel Magazine and placed Pfizer on the 2005 list of "Top 10 Most Innovative Law Departments".

Envisioned and Co-founded an online start company that harnessed the power of the web to connect consumers to South Asian owned and operated small- to mid-sized businesses in the Houston area. Within the first year of launch, Pratik and his team grew SABAsearch.com to host over 2000 business profiles and attracted upwards of 50,000 unique visitors (consumers) to the site per month. Pratik was also successful in securing numerous re-occurring advertising campaigns from large companies who wished to target SABAsearch.com's diverse user base population. Although successful in many ways, the website was ultimately dissolved due to insufficient VC funding and resource constraints. Pratik takes with him from this experience a priceless amount of start up skills and the drive to do it again someday!

Assisted the Director of Marketing in developing marketing materials, cold-calling potential clients and organizing trade show events to spread awareness about AMS broadcasting product lines.
