* Responsible for handling Vessel, tank, and pipeline planning for import and export vessel line-up activities in the tank farm and pump house, which include receiving, storing, loading, and unloading of liquids (192 chemicals of classes A, B, and C and non-classified) through an automated system.* Responsible for expense budget oversight, organizing, planning, controlling, and directing operations and maintenance activities to ensure that products are handled in the most efficient, safe, and economical manner.* Responsible for issuing work permits for the PM schedule of equipment. Monitor and inspect equipment, pumps, valves, switches, gauges, alarms, safety devices, and meters to detect leaks or malfunctions and to ensure that equipment is operating efficiently and safely.* Prepared and implemented 14 elements of process safety management, Management and maintain record for integrated management system documents for ISO audits, and ensured compliance.* Responsible for the HAZOP study and implementation. Conduct a risk assessment and make department safety objectives to ensure safety for workers and employees. In addition, implementation of corrective and preventative actions is necessary to ensure safety for workers and employees.* Responsible for the safety of terminal and external personnel by conducting drills and coordinating training efforts.* Responsible for preparing SOP for new and existing processes and ensuring their implementation.* Responsible for giving operational and safety training to workers and employees. Maintain records for the same.*Prepare safety reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.*Responsible for giving training and implementing the confined space entry standard as a competent person as per Section 36 of the Gujarat Factory Act 1948.*Preparing a pre-handling check list for new chemicals and ensuring chemical compatibility for existing designs and Piping and Instrumental Diagrams (P&IDs).
