TCS is a part of the prestigious TATA Group, which consist of over 80 companies. The Gujarat Sales Tax Department website is being revamped as part of the VAT Implementation initiative. This website is a web-based client-server application based on J2EE architecture. It has been primarily built to cater to the needs of the dealers in Gujarat under the new VAT regime under the National E-Govermance Initiative (NEGI). This website has been conceived with the intention of supporting the VAT dealers in the new VAT regime.
