Though academically a Civil Engineer, I have always stressed and capitalized on inter-disciplinary learning, always boiling things down to first principles. I currently manage the construction company of our family, and during my first two years (ongoing currently), I have endeavored and have been successful in almost doubling the revenue from operations. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about a blow to the business and for some months I had to bear the immense pressure resulting from an acute financial crisis. I have successfully weeded myself out and now I am even stronger than before, with very harsh hands-on lessons about financial management. I single handedly developed the ERP for our business, which used to run on pen and paper. I took use of Appsheet, and after I had completed, I used the new-found expertise into working for other people. Now I am a freelance junior developer at a software development company based in London, UK. I'm also a very keen enthusiast for computers and technology and have always advocated that they are the future.I have taken lessons in accounting and audits, have closely worked with accomplished accountants and I'm currently on the verge of finishing the accounting module of the ERP, which I'm sure can be a a worthy competitor to Tally or Quickbooks. I dwell on arts and science - both branches of the tree simultaneously, which help me navigate my path higher up at greater ease. I'm more like a lone wolf, constantly destructing and restructuring everything I come across with an endeavor to perfecting them. But as my age increases, I know perfection is only a myth and my new-found experiences are lining me more towards optimality than perfection, which I know, is the way of the world.
