Functional Roles and Responsibilities: -• Provide support and service on all financial matters i.e. budgets preparation, management accountings, MIS and all other analytical reports and financial statements. • Compile the data on capital expenditure, head office expense and other overheads and add the same to proposed Sales and Gross margin figures obtained from the business to compile the budget for the final approval of the concerned authorities• Prepare the Letter of Credit and ensuring they are in line with the company policy.• Prepare current and projected cash flows and advise authorities in case of likely shortfall.• Prepare monthly statement of payments made and payments due in order to assess the present and future financial liabilities of the company.• Facilitate the audit of accounts by internal and external auditors. Examine the audit report in consultation with Senior and implement corrective action if required to improve efficiency and transparency.• Prepare and record assets, liability, revenue and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.• Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolve discrepancies.• Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries• Summarize financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.• Complete external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts; providing information for auditors.• Avoid legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.• Secure financial information by completing database backups.• Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
