• Spearheading a team of 90 members (including 32 direct team members who handle Imports, Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearance operations, Warehousing and Transportation, and Indirect Team of 280 of Manpower, Transportation and CHA Clearance and Warehouse.) • Responsible for New Business Development and also Implementation for Foxconn – RSMI and IDPBG 3PL Warehouses (Hub Warehouse – 180000 Sqft and Spoke Warehouses each of 2 x 40000Sqft) Setting up the whole process & Also Identify New Warehouse Sites as per company Standards and Requirements for Business. • Establishing a robust warehousing and distribution network, transitioning from traditional setup to best in industry practices and processes.• Ensuring Company is in compliance with laws and regulations regarding Facility Management for Foxconn Tech Park Business, transportation, including hazardous materials. Resolve any legal issues pertaining to transportation/distribution. • Transportation Planning, Cost analysis, Fleet Structure, Vehicle Ownership Mix and Vehicle Utilization. Suggesting for ownership mix of the vehicles, with respect to own fleet, leased fleet & spot hiring vehicles including 24’, 28’, 32’, 34’HQ, Multi-Axle Trucks and also 20 feet and 40 Trailers for Different Customers per day of 80 Trucks for Primary Transportation and 120 Trucks for Secondary Transportation on PAN India Basis.• Responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, defining departmental strategies for appropriate inventory levels, eliminating obsolete and off-spec material, and reduce ageing material.• Developing and maintaining the transportation system on domestic and international freight that ensures business needs are met. • Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols and oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles.
