My grounding is in the advertising and communication business. And over the past 18 years, I have spent time across the board in all derivative forms. My fundamentals were set in the advertising industry which I joined right after college. The next 7 years were spent in copywriting in a largely FMCG dominated market. After turning copy supervisor and during a particularly lean period, I shifted gears to move into online advertising; then a sunrise industry in India. 5 years later, while heading the department, I took a lateral shift into Corporate Communications and Public relations to head up the internal and external communication, Vendor management, Agency liaison duties at Sify. I am also responsible for the Profile management of the Chairman and Senior Management team The other hat I wear is of Investor Relations.
