DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Understanding the OHSE policy and explaining to all staff and workers.●   Maintaining and Updating the OHSE documents as per IMS audit requirements.●   Preparing Site Specific OHSE plan and Emergency Response Procedures.●   Participating and Reviewing HIRA and AIA (Aspect Impact Analysis).●   Implementing Work Permit System at construction site.●   Conducting OHSE Inductions and Re-orientation programs for Staff and Workers.●   Conducting Inspections in Confined space entry and Electrical equipment’s.●   Updating the OHSE weekly and Monthly Tracker.●   Investigating the incidents and Near misses.●   Complying with the applicable legal requirements.●   Formation of OHSE committee and playing catalyst role for the Committee.●   Preparing Corrective and Preventive actions for all non-conformities at construction sites regarding OHSE violations.●   Implementing BBS (Behaviour Based Safety) procedures at site.●   Inspecting all construction machinery weekly maintaining the checklists.●   Inspecting Firefighting equipment regularly.●   Conducting OHSE internal Audits.●   Safety for confined space works (gas monitoring before and during the work proper rescue plan in case of emergency).●   Safety for works at height (scaffolds) inspection of scaffolds, use of appropriate fall protection systems etc.●   Lock out and tag out (LOTO) procedures and multi lock system for electrical isolation.●   Report unsafe acts/conditions to site supervisor and arrange for corrective action.●   Conducting safety toolbox talks & safety induction to workers, safety meetings to employees and safety briefing to client.●   Presentation of the safety statistics to the top management as and when required.●   Conduct mock drills as per statutory requirements

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure Tool Box talk are conducted daily basis prior to commencing of every activity and also ensure that proper communication and emergency procedures are established in the site. Carrying daily HSE Inspection checklist for monitoring unsafe act/unsafe condition at site including fire fighting equipment, hot work activities, safe work procedures, work at heights scaffolds, road safety, excavation barricades and safety signs Ensuring provision and use of appropriate PPE for personnel protection and right tools for the particular job Giving safety induction to all newly joined employees prior to their introduction to site and ensuring all workers are conversant with the standard procedures associated. Reported to relevant authorizes in case of incident or accident. Ensure all the equipment’s, tools, materials are inspected and certified prior to their introduction to projects and maintaining related records. Ensure the competency and compliance by inspection of Cranes and lifting tackles, electrically powered tools, extension cords, slings and chains, safety harness, scaffolds, ladders, etc. Prepare and submitted to client weekly & monthly management reports on HSE performance. Participate HSE meeting to review the site conditions to upgrade and to reinforce safety respect to site in case of any incident or unsafe conditions. Attend weekly HSE review meeting with client. Audit all work permits to ensure all precautions and condition are in place prior to commencement of job for their compliance with the Company HSE Procedures in force. Ensure isolation procedure and LOTO (lock out and Tag out) procedure based on permit to work the client requirement as well as verifying proper documentation in place Monitoring environmental protection and waste management, maintain good housekeeping.  Supporting to conduct periodical mock drill to check and ensure emergency evacuation plan are in place to meet any undue event

Promoting safety awareness of site personnel through induction and tool box talks ensuring adherence to company’s established safety rules, codes, practices and procedures.Conducting Training programs for all life critical activities (Confined space, Working at Height, Scaffolding, Electrical Safety, and Excavation). Liaise with client safety and construction personnel at site and to address their concern with immediate intervention by applying requirement respect to HSE procedure and specification in force.

 Preventing Injuries to personnel, damage to plant and equipments, etc., by avoiding unsafe acts during job execution Ensuring provision and use of appropriate PPE and right tools for the particular job Risk assessment / identifying hazards, effecting site safety operation before project work starts Monitoring all machines, crane operation including control of banks man, coordinating special lifts, reviewing the condition of lifting chains, slings, wire ropes, man baskets, etc., ensuring safe load certificates and operator’s license in place at all time. Monitoring Inspection of movable and fixed scaffolding, ladders and platforms as per the safety aspects. Ensuring use of proper fall protection when working at elevated areas. Ensuring deep excavation with proper and shoring, using proper sign boards, cones, barriers, nets, safety lights, gang ways and proper diversions. Ensuring clear access / egress and house keeping at all times. Ensuring proper fire protection during hot work. Ensuring proper storage of all hazardous substances including all flammable liquid or any substance likely to give rise to toxic, corrosive, irritant or harmful risk. Ensuring safety method statements for all risky jobs and proper safety while working below high voltage line, tunnels, confined spaces, gas pipe lines, live roads, man holes and deep excavation works. Promoting safety awareness of site personnel through induction and tool box talks ensuring adherence to company’s established safety rules, codes, practices and procedures. Investigation of incidents/ accidents and prepare related statistical analytical reports. Audit of permits to work. Participating safety meeting, etc., held by the Client. Advising preparation of work permits as related to work and supervising monthly maintenance schedules.
