At Alteryx I spearheaded the development of 'Metric Store' product aimed at bringing ease-of-use, efficiency and trust for the business user persona to self-serve the business metrics & KPIs for the enterprise from a single source of truth. In a new organization starting with market and customer research, prototyping to articulate the vision and socializing the concept with leadership to getting approval for building the product in 6 months was an experience full of learning opportunities - learning to listen, collaborate, brainstorm and iterate fast - and make friends with many amazing people along the way ! Then came the really exciting part of journey to build the product. With the tremendously talented UI, UX and engineering teammates marching in lock-step it was no wonder that the GA release was ready in just under 1 year from getting the green flag to go build ! Along the way it was a pleasure to collaborate with marketing, sales, customer support and other internal teams to build the collateral to enable customers to have a complete product experience out-of-the-box and be prepared for a smooth launch. Building telemetry for tracking feature usage and product KPIs methodically helped keep the team make decisions anchored in data. A few things I particulary enjoyed were - mentoring and onboarding product team members - holding webinars to evangelize the product and sharing market insights about fast evolving modern data stack for enterprises. - tinkering on my own to prototype ways to integrate with generative AI (LLMs) to fast track metrics definitions

I helped on developing the initial version of the product. Once in place, I recognized the need for and moved to set up and grow the delivery team with the charter of making our customers successful with a keen intent to learn from the customer engagements to continually make the product better.
