•Managing thermal powerplant(40 MW) maintenance activities including condition monitoring and vibration analysis of rotating equipments.•Responsible for the planning and execution of major overhauls on Compressors, Pumps, valves and other plant rotating equipment.•Involved in root cause analysis (RCA) for the rotating equipment and solutions to the equipment reliability problems.• Experience in the development of maintenance strategies and procedures for rotating equipment.•Coordinate with my team to resolve the problems and enhance the reliability of the equipment.•Prepare specifications and provide technical recommendations for procurement of major equipment.•Helps in preparation of capital spares refurbishment requests for critical rotating machines in the plant.•Provide recommendations on spare parts requirement, to secure the most reliable operation and economic level of maintenance.•Work experience in troubleshooting, overhauling and repair of all plant rotating equipment.•Acted as technical consultant for planners, maintenance supervisors and operation supervisors in developing methods for maintenance work execution and/or planning such work.•Suggest for spare parts for rotating equipment.•Preventive and Predictive Maintenance program set up and execution.•Order materials, with purchasing department assistance, that are not routine or maintained as stock items for maintenance and operations.•Interacting with OEM for spares.•Prepare technical reports as required.
