I am a senior corporate finance/ investment professional with a deep knowledge of Global markets and an entrepreneurial mindset. In my 29 year career, i have worked in various sectors of the investment industry from family offices, international hedge funds, mutual funds, real estate, direct investment, PE & corporate finance.I have worked as a trusted partner with leading entrepreneurs and established businessmen throughout my career and spear-headed their key initiatives to enable them achieve their strategic objectives. I have experience across geographies, sectors and various functions to execute projects in a timely & efficient manner. I have built businesses from scratch, entered new markets and created new investment products. I guide business planning and strategy for companies, identify and close opportunities for inorganic growth, and optimise the performance of asset portfolios.Following a degree at the University of Mumbai, I completed training as a chartered accountant. After qualifying, I helped set up a finance and management consultancy partnership, Niche Group, where I played a leading role in the delivery of major projects over the next ten years, including the establishment of a broking and electronic trading business, the creation of investment portfolios, and corporate finance for SMEs. I was also part of founding team of India’s first ETF asset management company and led the operations.My next two roles were focused on investor relations for a major Indian telecom infrastructure Group, Global and a leading financial services group, Reliance Capital. I moved to London in 2010 to set up a LSE listed holding company for Global Group as well as playing a key role in their international strategy, identifying potential targets for acquisition and leading the deal.
