The manufacturing facility located in the sprawling 25 Acres of planned Industrial Land in Haldia right opposite Mitsubishi Factory, produces Low Ash Met, Nut & Breeze Coke.While Met Coke is used in Blast Furnace & Fundaries of Steel manufacturers, Nut Coke is used primarily in Ferro Alloy units. Breeze Coke on the other hand is used in BF, Foundaries & Sinter Plants.It is used as a fuel and a reducing agent in the production of Iron, Steel, Ferro - Alloys, elemental Phosphorous, Calcium Carbide & numerous other processes. It is also used to produce Carbon electrodes and to agglomerate sinter & Iron Ore pellets.The waste heat generated during the process of production of Met Coke is utilized to run the WHRB Boilers, thereby redirecting the waste heat to Power Generation which will also be beneficial in reducing Carbon Emissions.
