Pravinjith K P has over 30 years’ and 500+ project experience in Infrastructure, Energy, and Environment. His expertise spans concept to commissioning including design of infrastructure for various projects of sewage management, solid waste management (municipal, hazwaste, e-waste), rainwater harvesting, renewable energy (Wind, Hydel, and Solar energy), and environmental impact assessment related projects. He has experience working with international teams from Germany, the UK, Netherlands, USA, Kenya, Taiwan, Thailand, Maldives, Bhutan, Nepal, Srilanka, North Korea, Qatar, Iran, and China in various technical capacities. Organizations include World Bank, GIZ, UNDP, UNICEF, DEG, BORDA, IFEU, Consul Aqua, Adelphi, Gopa Infra, ICLEI etc and has offered consulting services in 11 countries. He has rich domestic experience working across 70+ cities in 19 Indian states, 3 Union Territories. His private sector clients include reputed companies like Toyota, Pepsi Cola, Tata Motors, Siemens, Mahindra, Manipal Hospitals, etc.,Several of the projects designed by him have gained National recognition – such as a Special mention from the Hon’ble President of India under National Urban Water Award (NUWA) 2009 for Decentralised Waste Water Treatment (DTS) for School sanitation project. The Decentralised STP for Kundalahalli Lake rejuvenation, Bangalore won First prize under the National Water Awards 2018 from the Govt oF India. He was the technical consultant to the SWM manual prepared by the CPHEEO, Govt of India, and developer of "SWAPT" a decision-making software tool for Solid Waste Management for Swach Bharat Mission Website is developed by him. The segregated waste accountant- SEWAC – a real-time IoT based onboard waste weighing system secured the “Best emerging innovative technology in SWM for collection and transportation” from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India and First Runner Up at the Smart Cities Competition 2021. Mr. Pravinjith K.P is a Civil Engineer with a Masters's degree in Geotechnical Engineering. He holds an Executive MBA from Commonwealth. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Municipal Solid Waste. He is also a Lead auditor for EMS 14000 and Internal Quality Auditor for ISO 9000. He is expert on the technical sub committee of the waste to wealth mission under the Prime Ministers Science Technology Innovation Advisory Council and Member of the Monitoring committee for Hazwaste TSDF constituted by State Govt of Goa
