Pravin has spent 21 years in the USA working in Publishing, Business Development and Technology. Today he is more socially and politically involved. Based out of his ancestral home in Kerala, but working all over India. Since moving to Kerala, Pravin has been a senior member of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) which seeks to bring transparency and local empowerment to Government. He also serves on the National Executive of AAP's labour union, the Shramik Vikas Sangathan (SVS). Pravin is involved in various projects that help communities in Kerala and Indian workers. Pravin started his career in Mumbai as a copywriter. While at Grey Advertising (India),he rose from Account Executive to Group Head & Division Chief over five years. Pravin has advised blue chip companies in Mumbai, Ahmedabad & Chennai. After the stint at Grey, Pravin worked for the Taj Group (India) as a Communications Consultant on several projects including a presentation to the Indian Tourism ministry, promoting Tourism as a socio-economic boon. Many recommendations were accepted, resulting in tax and other incentives for the Industry. In 1992 Pravin moved to the US and re-invented himself in the publishing, software and marketing arenas. As Director of Marketing and Information products, he helped build NJBIZ into NJ's leading business information company over six years. He later provided strategic consulting services to (then) publicly owned IBS Interactive (an Internet Services firm).In the year 2000, he went to work for himself, running a small software publishing business. By 2008, the company also added business development for technical products and services through a New Jersey based company called Healthy Neighborhood LLC. From 2012, Pravin returned to India and has redirected more of his energies to the needs of organizations as well as communities there. He continues to consult with select clients whenever his community directed activities permit.
