Introducing AUT Air, a project from AUT Studio aiming to build 3D mapping and videography of AUT’s three campuses using high quality camera drones, modelling softwares and geospatial data. My main roles are:Assisting with the planning and production of the ‘AUT Air’ project and its applications namely 3D mapping and aerial imagery (videography+imagery) of its three campuses (North, South, City).Assisting with promotional and team-building activities for this project including photoshoots, ceremonial events, team-bonding activities, and team meetings.

This involves building and stocking promotional displays and negotiating promotional space with Store Managers and maintaining quality planograms in the store. As a student, this role mainly upskills me with precise time management and decision making skills and helps me think broadly with a perspective of both a customer and a merchandiser to keep intact the weekly goals.Learning Outcomes: Most of the shifts are early morning from 3 am - 8 am on weekdays which has fostered my Time-Management skills to manage times between lecture/meetings and shifts. Organization of my work and maintaining a great work-life balance is something I have learned and improved by this position. Working with the Store and Territory Managers for the respective products boosted my confidence to lead any situation and to communicate in an appropriate manner.

It was exciting to have completed a short internship as a design engineering intern at Zuru Tech for their upcoming flat-pack pre-fabricated housing project. Their goal is that the customer to be able to customise floors, windows, doors, tiles, rooms, and almost all elements inside the house, and this project is aimed at delivering inexpensive, flexible and robust manufactured houses to be assembled on-site with almost little labour required. Assisting the Housing Product Development Team with Product Computer Aided Design (CAD)and Validating New Product Design. Communicating with the Housing Manufacturing team to organise testing/prototyping of newproducts. Participating in Product Design Brainstorms and Discussions and presenting ideas during New Product Design Meetings.As a design intern, I was working at designing the electrical power hub consisting of MCB switches, microcontrollers, transformers, relays, ethernet ports as well as wifi modules as a part of the smart switches and how the electrical connections would be made via the PCB boards. It was fantastic to get to know and communicate with the ZURU Teams in INDIA, ITALY, and CHINA.The main role is product design and development of electrical components for prefabricated buildings. Core focus on creating and communicating detailed 3D CAD models of developed components to operate within the established system.
