Using Amazon Marketplace, third-party sellers gain access to Amazon's customer base, and Amazon expands the offerings on its site without having to invest in additional inventory.As part of Marketplace payment team, My key responsibilities are below :• Develop tools and manage deployment of fee and pricing rules across all geographies.• Work in a UNIX/Linux environment to support and manage distributed software running with Oracle databases for large-scale, performance-critical and highly available distributed systems. • Plan and participate in implementing scaling activities for Amazon's software fleets, and troubleshoot issues with large-scale software systems and end-to-end systems, providing technical details, as well as risk assessment and recommendations for improvements. • Partner with engineering team to debug software programs, make enhancements to existing software systems, and design and develop software features to ensure systems are scalable and supportable. • Devise and set standards around software maintainability, and design and implement automation for manual tasks to improve efficiency.

My day-to-day responsibilities in this specialized knowledge role includes:• Devising and setting standards around software maintainability as well as designing and implementing automation for manual tasks to improve efficiency.• Responsible for Automation of Shipping Labels and Manifests Generation Process.• On-boarding the new carriers to amazon transportation world.• Building tools publishing metrics and dashboards to provide transparency to the business.• Solving deep technical problems and building innovative solutions for shipping label and manifest documents for carriers.• Owning and providing operational support for Carrier Integration Technology and providing reliable and efficient customer experience.• Running design and effort estimation with detailed task breakdown for key operational and network expansion projects.• Implementing the fix for internally developed code; performing SQL queries; and updating tracking and resolving technical challenges.• Providing assistance and equipping the other engineers with Amazon technologies and team-specific domain knowledge (mainly with programmer analyst and SDEs)• Conducting stress and performance tests for Labeling and manifesting services.• Defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for labeling and manifesting service.• Identifying and fixing system performance bottlenecks as well as preventing future. • Interviewing and hiring new Engineers
