Teaching small scale farmers how to harvest and incubate microbes to make their own organic fertilisers to increase yield and build climate resilience. I’m actively engaged in working toward a concerted global solution to the restoration of soil integrity through microbial science and organic fertiliser solutions. Broadly, I work creating multi-level inter-governmental and multi-party stakeholder Public Private Producer Partnerships (4Ps) in Africa and South and East Asia, to restore independence and regenerate smallholder farmer economies in the context of community regeneration. Currently, I deliver training to farmer trainers in India and Africa sharing organic methods of soil fertility restoration. In tandem, I am developing a climate-resilient nexus model bringing together key stakeholders (including farmer co-operatives, national, regional and local government, and multi-laterals) for poverty reduction, food security and increased nutrition. Integral to the model is value chain creation through a P4P (purchase for progress) model to boost agri-entrepreneurship and boost youth engagement in agriculture. I’m keen to open individual dialogues to explore possible synergies of how we can work collaboratively, especially since the agricultural yield, nutritional value and disease resistance of crops can be significantly increased through organic inputs. Further, the potential with regards to the export market of organically certified agricultural products (both unprocessed and processed) holds immense potential as a poverty reduction and social transformation initiative. In a former incarnation he was engaged in using e-learning and digital technologies to close the achievement gap, especially between the economic north and emerging market economies. I've been a member of Amnesty International for over a decade and held national office for Amnesty International UK for two years. I support Greenpeace and Unicef.
