CurrentResponsibilities: - ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the network - planning development, optimization and redundancy Achievements: - the access network was transferred to managed switches: the network became much more stable - the transition from PPPoE to DHCP was made: connection and configuration of the subscriber router was simplified to plugging it into a power outlet - the transition from PC-based BRAS to Juniper MX960 was made: It has become easier to maintain and scale the network - automated processes for connecting/changing service settings: reduced time to connect/configure a subscriber - redirecting subscribers to the blocking page in case of late payment for services (Captive Portal): subscribers understand what the problem is and get the opportunity to restore access by pressing one button - network monitoring based on Zabbix was implemented: prompt information about the network status, reduced response time to accidents - a system of work accounting and motivation for engineers was created: payroll was simplified, accelerated, and employees became more motivated because they clearly understand what and how they were charged.
