I am a chemical engineering student at Singapore Polytechnic with a passion for integrating safety with engineering principles. My focus is on enhancing safety in all sort of sectors , specifically in petrochemica . I aim to create safer, more efficient solutions through teamwork, research, and data-driven insights.During my time at Nestlé’s Jurong Factory and YTL PowerSeraya, I gained hands-on experience in safety and plant operations. At Nestlé, I conducted risk assessments, safety audits, and incident analyses, identifying hazards and improving plant safety standards. I used tools like Excel and Power BI to analyze data, track trends, and present findings to managers. My work also involved regular collaboration with floor staff and management to maintain a strong safety culture.At YTL PowerSeraya, I developed a solid understanding of Singapore’s safety standards, enhancing my ability to identify safety needs and communicate hazards effectively. I also gained valuable experience participating in daily plant meetings to align safety protocols with regulatory standards.My background as a barista and my industry experience have strengthened my interpersonal, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. These complement my technical expertise, making me effective in both team settings and independent roles.
