I am a first-generation student that graduated from Chapman University with a B.A. in Integrated Education Studies (IES) and a minor in Mathematics. Being in the IES program, I have learned about the physical and mental development of students in K-12 education. I have learned many skills to promote culturally relevant and interdisciplinary teaching to foster an environment where students are excited to learn. I am now a student coach at Give Something Back. As a student coach, I work one-to-one with at-risk youth to help them achieve their personal, academic, and career goals.
