Assists with research that is focused on Black rural communities in East Tennessee. Research work include conducting interviews, visiting historic sites, museums and historic societies, mapping, and web designing.

Organized and filed cases into the organization manager software, edited and revised volunteer policies, helped organized programs for community events, packed backpacks for local foster care organization, and reviews papers needed for grant submissions.

Research focused on Black history in McMinn County, TN that included businesses, schools, communities, churches, and organizations. Conducted several interviews and field research.

Planned and implemented educational programs at the local middle school. Help strengthen the academic, social, and physical education of the youth. Other civic duties were completed such as library donation, cooking and delivering food to homeless shelters, and assist in with a food can drive.
