As a Hospital Pharmacy Intern during my industrial training, I gained practical experience in various aspects of hospital-based pharmaceutical care. My primary responsibilities included assisting with the dispensing of medications, ensuring accurate preparation and labeling, and verifying prescriptions for completeness and accuracy under the supervision of licensed pharmacists. I also provided support in managing medication inventory and helped with the proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals in compliance with hospital protocols.I had the opportunity to counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and adherence, ensuring they had a clear understanding of their treatment regimens.
