Carrying out Planned and Preventive maintenance on oil and heavy duty equipments.• Changing and overhauling of Caterpillar Engine (diesel, gas and petrol Engines) Cylinder Heads, Engine blocks, Lubrication and Cooling System Diagnosis and repair, Air Induction and Exhaust Systems. • Perform preventive/corrective maintenance and troubleshooting on all mechanical equipment and utility systems as per Computerized Maintenance Management System; • Use and maintain workshop and welding/cutting equipment, including tools and instruments; • Assist in pre-commissioning and commissioning; • Assist in mechanical spare parts and consumables stock control; • Liaise with other departments for coordination of maintenance and operation activities; • Use the Permit to Work system. Prepare Permits. Follow the Permit to Work procedures; • Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System. Produce reports, update records, generate work orders; • Prepare required reports; Ensure that vendors and contractors are managed safely and effectively; • Undertake training relevant to the position requirements; • On-the-job-training of subordinates and trainees; • Member of Emergency Response Team. • Vast experience on overhauling of different kind of industrial pumps and valves • Assisting Gas Booster Compressor Engineer in maintaining and overhauling compressors pistons, suction/discharge valves and the shaft.• Overhauling and Servicing of heavy industrial Pumps and Compressors• Vibration Monitoring and Control• Overhauling of Air Conditioner Compressors, • Overhauling and Maintenance of heavy duty Pumps and Compressors• Overhauling of Stabilization Pumps, • Changing and overhauling of Caterpillar Cylinder Heads, • Assisting in servicing of Steam Turbine • The ability to lubricate/overhauling of enclosed gear boxes.• Servicing and carrying out maintenance on Fresh Water Generators• Proficient in using and interpreting drawing for jobs,
