With a burning passion for storytelling and commitment to his craft, Precious Okpala is also known as "The Happy Director ''. He is an award winning writer and director and has embarked on the extraordinary journey in the world of filmmaking. With a background in " "Theatre Arts" he was offered a scholarship by the Lagos State Government to study Directing for Film at Ebonylife Creative Academy where he co-directed his first film as a student "Freedom Come".  The film garnered recognition and even won the award for the Best Actress Accolade at the Women's International Film Festival 2022.Precious has gone on to write and  direct other films like "LIFE", "RED LIGHT", "I RECEIVED NEWS TODAY" and most recently his first Musical Feature length  "CAN ANYONE SEE ME" which is in POST PRODUCTION. Precious most recently was recognised as one of the TOP TEN YOUNG AFRICAN FILMMAKERS BY THE NEFTI AFRICAN FILMMAKERS COMPETITION and Durban Film Mart. Stay tuned for Precious's coming projects as he continues to captivate the audiences with his unique storytelling vision.
