I'm a Sophomore at Macomb Community College, beginning to look for roles in the law industry. As a Paralegal major, I'm looking forward to analyzing legal problems, while advancing my legal writing skills and ability to closely assist attorneys or businesses with legal matters. Furthermore, I have had the opportunity to enroll in essential courses that I feel will benefit me in the law industry and as an entrepreneur. Courses such as Business Law 1 and 2, Legal Procedures, Legal Writing and Research, Michigan legal systems and Ethics are just a few that I feel will prepare me for a successful future as a certified Paralegal. As an CEO I've obtained 10+ years of experience developing, operating and strategizing to open a brick-and-mortar company in Roseville Mi. I'm very knowledgeable of programs such as Microsoft outlook/excel, Acuity, Quick books, Tru-filing, and Square up. Google, Groupon, Social platforms along with merchant processors such as Square space provided me with the ability to enhance my marketing skills. Furthermore, I'm Fully capable of comprehending and drafting residential and commercial leases as well as B2B contracts and spreadsheet creation. I can't wait to have the opportunity to apply the skills I've gained as a business owner and course knowledge from prior classes at Macomb to a future position in the law industry.
