I started my Customer Service journey in the BPO industry in the Philippines to support my needs as soon as I turned 18 (the year 2013) and also to help my family. I never imagine that this journey will give me excitement and fulfillment in my career over the past years. I do enjoy helping people whether it's a customer or a colleague who needs someone to talk to. This made me realize that Customer Service is also essential in our daily lives.As an experienced Customer Service Representative/Advocate, I understand that this is no easy job dealing with irate customers, asking for help, or sometimes dealing with escalated issues despite these enjoyed helping people, finding a solution to complex issues, collaborating with my team and learning through these hardships and experiences. As I progress with my career I found myself encouraging my colleagues and helping them in identifying areas of opportunities and improvement, I found myself enjoying hearing feedback on how I helped them and feedback on how should I improve. I also had the opportunity to plan for training and training facilitation before achieving the promotion to team leader where I can help more people to grow and develop.Currently, I'm now a Team Captain where I help and develop individuals in preparation for their career growth, also awarded Outstanding Team Captain for my achievement and contribution to the company. I value learning from others, genuine connection, feedback, and hearing other people's stories and how will I be able to help them.
