Running and organization of an optical laboratory. Dealing with all optical issues lab related and more. Using state of the art glazing equipment such as essilor and nidek. Dealing with lab costs and remakes, dealing with world leading suppliers daily such as essilor, norville and so on. Making sure the laboratory runs smoothly working with a 3 man team glazing upto and sometimes more than over 100 jobs per day.

I am a fully qualified laboratory technician. I am fully qualified to use the Kappa CDT glazing and blocking machine. I can confidently use the Nidek glazing machine with a manual blocker. I'm also qualified to manage quality control of optical appliances using strict tolerances, using auto lens meters and manual lens meters. I also train members of staff on repairs of optical appliances.
