Dealing with lab costs and remakes, dealing with world leading suppliers daily such as essilor, norville and so on. Making sure the laboratory runs smoothly working with a 3 man team glazing upto and sometimes more than over 100 jobs per day.

I am a fully qualified laboratory technician. I am fully qualified to use the Kappa CDT glazing and blocking machine. I can confidently use the Nidek glazing machine with a manual blocker. I'm also qualified to manage quality control of optical appliances using strict tolerances, using auto lens meters and manual lens meters. I also train members of staff on repairs of optical appliances.
